Substantial difference between the southern part of Finland (milder climate) and Lapland (longer and colder winter). Northern Lights can be seen in Dec – March and Midnight Sun (24-h daylight) during the summer months in Lapland.
Visa: Australians do not need visas for stays under 3 months. New working holiday-programme between Australia and Finland - temporary resident permits, multiple entry, valid for one year can be issued to young Australians.
